At Character Crosswords we will produce a piece of art for your wall of a real crossword featuring 10-12 words you have chosen to include, with other words chosen to fit the spaces. With information from you about your interests, activities and family we can ensure that most of the words in the grid have some relevance. The crossword is printed on canvas and stretched over a frame, resulting in a unique piece of art that is completely individual.
If the crossword is a gift, for a small extra charge we will provide a greetings card including the blank grid and a set of clues, which the recipient can complete before seeing the “solution” in the form of the finished canvas. Clues are available in a range of difficulty, and can be personalized too.
All our crosswords follow the British style used in the quality daily newspapers, being a grid 15 x 15 of squares, and being rotationally symmetric – if you turn the grid 180 degrees it looks the same. Crossword enthusiasts will appreciate the authenticity of our designs, which are far superior to word-clouds or similar designs.
